How to Get Your California CCW Permit:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be a resident of the county you are applying through.
- Pass the criminal/mental background check.
- Not use or be addicted to any illegal drug.
- Complete the required firearms training course.
How To Get Started: Go online to your sheriff department and go to the CCW section. Fill out and submit the application and click on the appointment calendar and schedule your initial appointment.

How To Get The 32-36 Multi-State Utah CCW Permit: (Includes Nevada)
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be a legal resident of the United States. You do not have to be a Utah resident, you can be a resident of any state.
- Complete the required training course. We offer this course monthly right here in El Dorado Hills.
- Apply to Utah by mailing in your Certified Training Application. You will receive this application in the class.
- Pass the criminal/mental background check.
- You will receive your Utah CCW Permit in about 60 days.
- Permit is valid for 5 years.
