Note: Sacramento, San Joaquin, and Yolo County residents getting their Initial CCW Permit should have their sheriff’s interview prior to taking their class. Call us and we can help you with the process.

CALIFORNIA CONCEALED CARRY (CCW) CLASSES:

These Official CCW Courses satisfy all the training requirements necessary to obtain your California CCW.

All applicants applying for an initial CCW permit must complete a 16 hour training course. Permit holders who are applying for their renewal must complete an 8 hour training course. Renewal courses are required every 2 years.

Note: Even though you receive your permit from your county sheriff, it is a statewide permit. You can carry throughout California (except in restricted areas). 

Fees:

  • 16 Hour California Initial CCW Class: $275.00 (Includes $20.00 range fee & qualifying with up to 3 handguns).
  • 8 Hour Renewal CCW Class: $195.00 ( Includes $20.00 range fee & qualifying with up to 3 handguns)
  • El Dorado residents can qualify with up to five (5) handguns and we charge $15.00 per firearm after the first three (3). If you will be qualifying with a 4th or 5th firearm, please select the “Add On” fee when booking your initial or renewal class during checkout. 

UTAH 32-36 MULTI-STATE CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT:  $175.00.

You are NOT required to have your California CCW to take this class and obtain your Utah permit.

This is the Utah non-resident concealed weapons permit. This permit allows for the legal carrying of a loaded, concealed handgun in 32 states, (INCLUDES NEVADA BUT DOES NOT INCLUDE CALIFORNIA). This permit is an easy keeper, the class is generally about 4 hours long and is taught at our training facility in El Dorado Hills, CA. There is no range shooting required, the entire 4 hours is classroom only. The permit is good for 5 years and has a $25.00 renewal fee. We hold this class quarterly on a Saturday evening, 5pm – 8/9pm in El Dorado Hills.

The non-resident Utah CCW Permit is honored in the following 32 states: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Nevada, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

BASIC DEFENSIVE HANDGUN SHOOTING: $225.00 (Includes $20.00 range fee) Does not include your ammunition. This 3 hour class is a must for all beginners ages 14 and up or for anyone wanting a good review.. Learn the Right Way and the Safe Way from the very start. You can bring your own handgun or rent one of ours for $30.00. If you need equipment for this class, please call (916) 705-2258

You will learn:

  • Proper grip, trigger control, sight alignment, and follow through.
  • Proper shooting stance.
  • Shoot 150 rounds at the range.
  • Develop handgun self-defense and personal protection skills.
  • Master safe firearm handling.

INTERMEDIATE DEFENSIVE HANDGUN SHOOTING: $225.00 (Includes $20.00 range fee) Does not include your ammunition.

This is a Fantastic Range Course that transforms the shooter from Target Shooting to Self-Defense shooting. Make your first shot count. You will learn to shoot fast and straight without using your sights while taking out two assailants. We will get you GOOD with your gun. This is one of the best handgun classes you will ever take. You will need your gun and 200 rounds of ammunition. This class can take up to 3 hours. We have rental, semi-automatic pistols available for $30.00. ADVANCED DEFENSIVE HANDGUN SHOOTING: $250.00 ( Includes $20.00 range fee) Does not include your ammunition? (Intermediate Defensive Shooting Course is a Prerequisite to taking this course)

In this Range Course you will shoot multiple assailants, perform emergency reloads, shoot from behind barriers, simulate night-time shooting, and much more. You will need your gun and 200 rounds of ammunition. This class can take up to 3 hours. Rental semi-automatic pistols available. If you need equipment for this class, please call (916) 705-2258.
